Xero was the sampler tape the band first created to try and get some attention for their music. They released when they were originally called "Xero" instead of "Linkin Park", and when they had just recently replaced Mark Wakefield with Chester Bennington as lead singer. The songs on here greatly resemble some you may know from Hybrid Theory, which is because they jsut made some changes and finishing touches to their original songs. "Forgotten" was based off of Rhinestone, and "Runaway" was based off of Stick N' Move.
