After yet another name change, the band finally named themselves "Linkin Park", which would be their name for many years to come. They also got a deal Warner Bros. Records, which allowed them to make their debut album as "Linkin Park", which was the very successful Hybrid Theory. They began recording, replacing Pheonix with Scott Koziol and Ian Hornbeck again due to absence. It was then finally mixed by Andy Wallace. Most of the songs were remakes from unfinished pieces, or from previous tapes such as Xero and Hybrid Theory EP. Hybrid Theory eventually went on to sell over 25 million copies world wide.
